DAVID BLAINE, the magician, has been accused of raping a British former model at a private home in London.
Natasha Prince claimed Blaine attacked her just months after her 21st birthday at a house in Chelsea in the summer of 2004.
“The next thing I remember, I was sitting in the make-up chair getting my make-up done, and thinking, ‘What did I do last night? Did I have sex with David Blaine? But I didn’t want to …” I felt hazy, completely out of it,” she told The Daily Beast.
Scotland Yard confirmed it was investigating an allegation of rape at an address in Chelsea in 2004 but said no arrests had been made.
Marty Singer, Blaine’s attorney, denied all allegations to The Daily Beast in a statement. “My client vehemently denies that he raped or sexually assaulted any woman, ever, and he specifically denies raping a woman in 2004,” the statement said.
Meanwhile Quentin Tarantino, the film director, has said he knew about Harvey Weinstein’s behaviour towards women and feels ashamed he did not do more to stop it. Los Angeles police last night said they were investigating a possible sexual assault case against Weinstein. He has denied all allegations of non-consensual sex.
