Serco COO calls time on transatlantic commute

Ed Casey is to step down as chief operating officer of the outsourcing company Serco after years of commuting across the Atlantic. Mr Casey will return to the US where he has accepted another job and will leave Serco at the end of the year, having worked at the firm for 12 years.

“We completely understand that after four years of weekly commuting across the Atlantic, he would like to have a job closer to home,” Serco chief executive Rupert Soames said.
