Gang of masked robbers forced children to hide

Three young children were forced to hide under a dining table when a gang of masked men armed with screwdrivers burst into their home and attacked their mother.

The mother was ambushed as she went to put the rubbish outside. As she returned to the house, four men pushed past her into the living room.

Detectives said once inside the house, in Brandshill, Slough, Berks, the woman was pushed to the floor, banging her head against a wall as she fell. Her foot became entangled in a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs.

As they attacked the young woman, one of the gang ordered the three children in the living room to get under the table or their mother would “get hurt”.
