Fake fine dining firm was a front for brothels
A high-end London brothel network was disguised as a fine dining company with customers charged £95 for “king crab soup” as a cover for sexual services, a court heard.
Helena Berkyova, 29, set up the fake business as a front for the brothels, including one overlooking Hyde Park, the Evening Standard reported. At Southwark Crown Court she admitted conspiracy to manage or assist in the management of brothels, keeping a brothel, and money laundering.
Transactions included £360 for Brecon lamb and £112 for four souffles, which actually was for sexual services.
The judge told Berkyova she was likely to receive a custodial sentence.
