Appeal to push on with £14bn Mastercard suit

Lawyers are seeking a judicial review to appeal a ruling that barred a £14bn class action lawsuit against Mastercard from progressing to court. Last month, the UK’S Competition Appeal Tribunal rejected the request to appeal the July ruling, and the new applications were filed with the High Court and Court of Appeal. The claim, relating to fees, was lodged on behalf of 46m customers.
