Teenagers charged with conspiracy to murder
Two 14-year-old boys who were arrested by counter-terror police have been charged with conspiracy to murder, detectives have said.
The teenagers, from Northallerton in North Yorkshire, were arrested on Saturday by Counter Terrorism Policing North East.
Both have been charged with conspiracy to murder and one faces another charge of aggravated burglary.
They are due to appear in custody at Leeds magistrates’ court today.
The boys were arrested on suspicion of preparing for an act of terrorism as part of an intelligence-led investigation.
