Plea Russian spies told ‘save the world’
George Blake, the former British double agent, celebrating his 95th birthday today, has told Russian spies they must save us all from nuclear war and terrorism.
The ex-mi6 man, who escaped a UK prison and was smuggled into East Germany in 1966, warned them: “You face a difficult and important mission to save the world when the danger of nuclear war and self-destruction of humanity has again been put on the agenda by irresponsible politicians.”
