Galliford bucks trend to sell more homes

Galliford Try shares rose 1.1pc yesterday after it said average sales rates at its housebuilding business were ahead of a year earlier amid “good market conditions”. It comes after RICS earlier this week said the UK housing market was struggling in October, pointing to declines in demand and agreed sales in the month.
