Webb’s warning over pension shortcomings

UK firms could be sued for hundreds of millions of pounds if they provide the bare minimum in pensions for employees, former pensions minister Sir Steve Webb has warned. Sir Steve said that courts might in future come down on schemes that weren’t seen as good value for staff.
