Spice girls

Performers prepare themselves for the curiously named Land of Green Ginger parade through the streets of Hull, part of the 2017 UK City of Culture celebrations. The magical procession of puppet giants, beasts, shape-shifters, fire dancers and stilt-walkers captivated a crowd of thousands on the route. The parade is named after a street in the city.
