Letting Corbyn win would take some forgiving
SIR – Discussing the existential crisis within their party, some Conservative MPS have suggested that a period of opposition might do it some good, while also showing the electorate why a Labour government is undesirable.
Given the harm that a Marxist government led by Jeremy Corbyn would inflict on Britain, such attitudes suggests that these MPS are placing the needs of their party over those of their country.
Were the current Government to be brought down by this kind of thinking, the country would not easily forgive the Conservative Party. Phil Mobbs
