MP: Give 13-year-olds explicit advice about heavy petting
♦ A Labour MP embroiled in a race row also suggested that 13-year-olds be given “explicit manuals on heavy petting”, it has emerged.
Conservative MPS have called for Emma Dent Coad to be suspended by her party after she made “racist” remarks about Tory activist Shaun Bailey.
Ms Dent Coad apologised after she referred to Mr Bailey as a “token ghetto boy” in a blog in 2010, saying the comments were taken the wrong way. But yesterday Mr Bailey branded her mea culpa “cowardly” and MPS called on Jeremy Corbyn to suspend her after it emerged Ms Dent Coad also drew a Conservative hanging from a tree and wrote a letter to a newspaper stating that 13-year-olds should be taught about “the delights of prolonged snogs”.
A spokesman for Mr Corbyn said last night: “Jeremy is opposed to all offensive language and believes we should treat each other with respect. Emma Dent Coad has rightly apologised to Shaun Bailey for her use of language.”
