-

A businessman who was shot in his £1million home by masked intruders in a botched burglary told his husband “I think I’m going to be OK” moments before he died, a court heard.

In a harrowing video interview shown to jurors at Winchester Crown Court yesterday, Simon-pierre Hedger-cooper, 48, broke down in tears as he recalled how Guy Hedger, 61, his husband and partner of 12 years, was shot in their bedroom at 3am on April 30 in Castlewood, Hants. Jason Baccus, 42, Scott Keeping, 44, and Kevin Downton, 40, all from Dorset, deny murder and aggravated burglary. Helen Keeping, 40, denies assisting an offender. The trial continues.
