Cameroon blaze guts parliament

A fire has destroyed much of Cameroon’s parliament in the capital, Yaoundé.

The government said the fire’s cause was accidental, though there were concerns about possible foul play after a string of arson attacks in the country’s English-speaking regions.

The blaze destroyed four floors of the seven-story building but a spokesman said no one had been hurt.
