Fiery and fast left-armer. Waqar and Wasim bowled terrific yorkers in one-day internationals, but Starc’s yorker is the best I’ve seen in Tests. At first he pitches the new ball full, and can go for runs, then he bangs it in to get reverse-swing later, often from round the wicket to make the batsman think he will be peppered. Athletic in the field and can hold a bat.
