Kinnock’s wife told him ‘he didn’t know anything’ after poll

STEPHEN KINNOCK was given a dressing-down by his wife, the former prime minister of Denmark, after the general election exit poll came out and proved him wrong, it has emerged.

The Labour MP had been negative about Jeremy Corbyn’s prospects in this year’s election, and was surprised to see the exit poll defied his expectations. Helle Thorning-schmidt, his wife, is shown in a BBC documentary telling off her husband.

“You don’t know anything,” she is seen telling him in Labour – The Summer That Changed Everything, which was broadcast on Monday. Before the poll, Mr Kinnock had predicted the results would cause the Labour leader to take a “long, hard look in the mirror”.
