Bulger killer back in prison as more child abuse images found
THE killer of toddler James Bulger has reportedly been returned to prison after he was caught with child abuse images on his computer for a second time.
Jon Venables, 35, was arrested last week after probation officials found indecent images on his computer at his home in the north of England, where he lives under a new identity. He was recalled to prison in 2010 for possessing similar images.
According to The Sun, he has been returned to a category-a prison for breaching the terms of his sentence and is being held pending a police investigation.
Venables and Robert Thompson were 10 years old when they abducted and murdered two-year-old James in Merseyside in 1993. Convicted of murder, they were released in 2001 under lifelong licence.
