Northern lights

The grounds at Harlow Carr, North Yorkshire, have a magical quality this winter as special lighting enhances the Royal Horticultural Society’s most northerly garden, near Harrogate. Visitors can see the lake, winter walk, streamside and Doric columns as never before, from 3pm to 8pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until Dec 30.
