Student reps banned from drinking clubs

♦oxford’s Queen’s College has banned student reps from joining drinking clubs. Students voted to bar Junior Common Room executive members from also being members of any “exclusive and/or secretive dining societies” in Oxford, though they may join societies which are open, where anyone can ballot for a place.

Such societies reinforce the idea that Oxford is not an inclusive space, the motion’s backers claimed.
