Wire wreath ring frames are available to buy, or create your own using a coat hanger.

Cover the frame with generous handfuls of moss and use reel wire to bind it in place.

Trim off any excess moss to create a neat shape, and dampen to ensure the wreath stays fresh.

Choose a selection of foliage and cut into sprigs. Group into small mixed bundles and secure to base using reel wire.

Overlap the bunches as you go to avoid gaps. Angle bundles to give depth.

For an organic look, simply add ribbon or wire to hang it from the door.

Alternatively, add decorations such as pine cones, cinnamon sticks, dried fruit slices, berries or baubles using wire.
