Friday Night Is Music Night

This week’s Friday Night Is Music Night is an explosion of exuberance: John Barrowman presents a concert at the Royal Albert Hall of Disney’s Broadway hits. Broadway stars join the London cast of Aladdin in a string of sparkling Disney songs, including pieces from Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Disney royalty is in attendance, too, in the form of the musical theatre and film composer Alan Menken, the man behind many a classic film score.
