The Prince of Wales this morning opened Damers First School, Poundbury, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Dorset (Mr Angus Campbell).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Loop Technology, Poundbury.

The Prince of Wales this afternoon opened Bowes Lyon Court Living Centre, Poundbury.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, the Battle of Britain Fighter Associatio­n, and The Duchess of Cornwall were represente­d by Air Chief Marshal Sir Michael Graydon (President, the Battle of Britain Memorial Fund, and formerly Chief of the Air Staff) at the Funeral Service of Flight Lieutenant Ronald Smyth which was held at Shrewsbury Crematoriu­m, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, this morning.

The Duke of Cambridge this afternoon received the Hon William Shawcross (Chairman, the Charity Commission for England and Wales).

BUCKINGHAM PALACE November 27th

The Earl of Wessex, Commodorei­n-chief, Royal Fleet Auxiliary, this morning attended the Service of Dedication for RFA Tidespring, Portsmouth Naval Dockyard, Victory Gate, HM Naval Base, Portsmouth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr Nigel Atkinson).
