Corrections and Clarifications

The basis of a 26 Oct headline (“My sons still can’t forgive me for having an abortion”) was a misreading of Diane Munday’s comment that her sons were ashamed of her. This comment in fact related to her sons’ attitude to the publicity surrounding her ongoing campaign to change abortion legislation, not to the fact of her 1961 termination. We are sorry for the misunderstanding.
