Former Corrie star admits groping

Bruno Langley, the ex-coronation Street star, grabbed a woman by the crotch and groped a second victim’s breasts, a court heard as he admitted two counts of sexual assault.

Langley, 34, who played Todd Grimshaw in Coronation Street, was drunk in a music venue in Manchester in the early hours of Oct 1 when he touched the two women, Manchester magistrates’ court was told.

The actor could face up to 12 months in prison if sentenced at magistrates’ court or longer if Mark Hadfield, the district judge, decides the case needs to be sent to Manchester Crown Court.
