Democracy leader calls for end to protest trials

An influential Zimbabwean pastor who was acquitted of subversion after leading mass protests against Robert Mugabe, the ousted president, has appealed to the new leadership to drop prosecutions of other dissidents. Evan Mawarire has joined those urging new Zanu-pf leader Emmerson Mnangagwa to drive for democracy.
