Corbyn to attend funeral of hanged Welsh minister

Jeremy Corbyn will attend the funeral of Carl Sargeant, the Welsh Assembly member who was found hanged after being sacked as communities minister over allegations of sexual harassment.

The Labour leader will be among the mourners at the service in north Wales tomorrow. Carwyn Jones, the first minister of Wales, who dismissed Mr Sargeant, will not attend.
