Police dishing the dirt
SIR – Whatever may or may not have been on the computer in Damian Green’s parliamentary office, surely the real scandal here is that retired police officers, one a former Commissioner, think they have the right to reveal matters that were not even evidence in a past investigation. Richard Coulson

SIR – I am appalled by the BBC’S treatment of Mr Green. On Today and other programmes he is game for everyone.
I understand that his alleged actions are not a crime, yet a retired police officer was interviewed.
