Union says AA workers ‘worried’ about its debt

A union representing workers at motoring group AA said its members are “seriously worried about the scale of debt and the cost of financing to them and how this is impacting on their day-to-day lives”. AA refinanced its debt earlier this year, and its debt pile currently stands at £2.7bn. AA said the body, GMB, is not a recognised union for employees.
