Editor of Tatler to leave after seven years at helm

-

Kate Reardon, the editor of Tatler, is stepping down after seven years.

Reardon said it had been a “joy” to work on the society magazine. “I’ve had the time of my life,” she said in a statement, adding that she would announce her next move “when it’s appropriate”.

She is the third Condé Nast editor to announce her departure this year.

Alexandra Shulman left British Vogue after 25 years, while Jo Elvin announced she was stepping down from Glamour magazine after 17 years.

Under Reardon, Tatler gently poked fun at its image as the bible of the upper classes, allowing the filming of a documentary, Posh People, for the BBC.
