Immigration strain
SIR – Net immigration has been 230,000 in the last year (report, November 30). While immigrants deserve support, the current number is unsustainable since homes have to be built, school places found, hospital services increased – to say nothing of the roads bring overcrowded.
With the best will in the world, the numbers must be massively reduced for the benefit of all living in Britain. John Roberts
