Motorcycle policeman and 91-year-old killed

An on-duty motorcycle police officer and a 91-year-old have died after being involved in a fatal road crash.

Thames Valley Police said Pc James Dixon lost his life on Bath Road in Wargrave, Berks, at around 1.50pm yesterday. A 91-year-old passenger in the car also died, police confirmed.

Pc Dixon was based at Loddon Valley police station.

The driver of the vehicle, a woman, was also injured and was taken to hospital for treatment.
