Cultural quest

Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, visits the Akshardham Temple, New Delhi – where the high air pollution is visible – as part of a four-day trip to India. It was built by the same sect of Hinduism that built the temple in Neasden, north-west London. The mayor is on a week-long visit to the region to promote London and strengthen ties with Indian and Pakistani cities.
