Dian Fossey: Secrets in the Mist
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, 9.00PM
Pieced together from Dian Fossey’s own writings and over 40 hours of film footage, this terrific documentary looks back over the life of the dedicated American primatologist and conservationist who did so much – even to the point of being murdered – to save the Rwandan mountain gorilla from extinction. Fossey’s words are voiced by Sigourney Weaver, who brought her work to prominence in the 1988 film Gorillas in the Mist.
