Mistaken identity

sir – I thought the point of having a BBC ID was to establish who is entitled to use BBC iplayer.

I have a BBC ID and a British log-in, and pay my licence fee by direct debit; but when I travel just a few miles, from Fishguard to Rosslare in the Republic of Ireland, I can no longer even listen to the Today programme on my tablet.

Why should my use of iplayer be restricted geographically? Michael Keene
