The recycling fraud
SIR – It has long been obvious, to those bothering to check, that “recycling” means waste separation at the point of collection from households.
It bears little relation to what happens to that waste subsequently, which is often to ship it half way round the world and dump it there.
The time and cost poured into this nonsense are frightening. Maybe the penny is now starting to drop that it’s largely a complete fraud. Neil Bailey
