Royal guard posed as 17-year-old girl ‘for kicks’

A police officer for the Royal family posed online as a 17-year-old girl called Emily to lure men into explicit conversations, a court heard.

Pc Adam Cox, 31, was working in security for embassies, parliament and the Royals family, when he created the alter ego “for kicks” and viewed more than 1,000 indecent images online.

Last month, Cox, from Windsor, pleaded guilty to four counts of possession of indecent images.

He was suspended from duty in August 2016 following his arrest and a police misconduct review will take place after he is sentenced.
