Corbyn says he will ‘probably’ win the election next year

JEREMY CORBYN believes that he will “probably” win the next general election – and he is ready to be PM.

Commenting on his belief that there will be another general election in the next 12 months, Mr Corbyn said: “I will probably win. I’m ready to be prime minister tomorrow.”

His comments to Grazia, the fashion and lifestyle magazine, contrast with those he made in June at Glastonbury when he reportedly told Michael Eavis, the festival’s founder and organiser, that he believed he would be prime minister before the end of this year.

It comes as 37 per cent of people in a Yougov poll favoured Theresa May in the top job, compared with 28 per cent opting for the Labour leader.
