Hotel fire tragedy

Two people died and three more – thought to be two adults and a child from the same family – needed treatment after fire tore through Cameron House at Loch Lomond. Jim Slight, a guest who fled the five-star hotel when an alarm sounded, described how a fire crew used a ladder to rescue two adults and a baby from the balcony, which had “started to get really thick smoke up there”.
