Rubber plantation

SIR – It has generally been very cold here in recent weeks, but clearly we have either a microclimate or a slow-moving warm front, for rubber bands are springing up everywhere in the drive.

I am not sure about the exact species or genus but certainly these are not as pretty, or Christmassy, as the red ones were. Roger Ellis
