Cruise passengers killed in bus crash

At least 12 people died when a bus carrying tourists to Mayan ruins in eastern Mexico flipped over on a highway last night.

Seven Americans and two Swedes are among the injured. Authorities have yet to establish the nationalities of the dead.

The bus company involved said the tourists arrived in the coastal town of Mahahual aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship.
