Limbs of strangled sex offender are still missing

A convicted sex offender was killed and then dismembered, and police have been unable to find his limbs, it has been revealed.

The body of Noel Brown, 69, was found next to Marie Brown, 41, his daughter, at his home in Deptford, south-east London, at about 2.30am on Monday Dec 4. Both had been strangled and police are hunting a suspect captured on CCTV carrying a rucksack. Det Ch Insp Simon Harding, described the case as “incredibly unusual”. “Parts of both his arms and a part of one of his legs have been removed from the scene and those have not been recovered,” he said.
