Sex charge Uber driver’s sneeze claim

♦ An Uber driver told the Old Bailey that a passenger claimed he had sexually assaulted her because he sneezed on her smartphone.

Najamulhassan Qureshi, 35, of Hounslow, west London, said the woman got angry when he rejected her drunken advances and he sneezed. He is accused of kissing her and sliding his hand up her skirt after she fell asleep in his car.

A father of one, originally from Pakistan, he could be deported if found guilty of sexual assault, which he denies. The trial continues.
