Four killed after ferry capsizes

A ferry carrying 251 passengers and seven crewmen capsized yesterday in fierce winds off northeastern Philippines, killing at least four and leaving seven missing.

Coastguard ships and fishermen pulled 250 people to safety, officials said. Many passengers, who had been given life vests, were found floating in the rough sea when rescue teams arrived.
