Oreos oust Fudge from selection boxes
CADBURY has upset fans of its Christmas selection box by replacing its Fudge bar with a Dairy Milk Oreo.
The American biscuit ousts the traditional British treat in the £2.99 box. Fudge is still available in the small and Freddo selection packs, however.
Mondelēz, the American multinational confectionery firm that now owns the Cadbury brand, has caused controversy before, altering Dairy Milk bars and Creme Eggs, and replacing Bourneville from the Heroes selection packs with Toblerone.
A Cadbury spokesman said: “This year we have updated the range… to improve the mix and offer more variety for our fans.”
