Liverpool sign Van Dijk for a record £75m

Liverpool have had a world-record £75 million offer accepted to sign Holland centre-back Virgil van Dijk from Southampton. Exclusively revealed by Telegraph Sport, a fee was agreed yesterday for Van Dijk that shatters Liverpool’s previous record and is also easily the biggest in history for a defender.
