Brass knuckles

This image of an Army boxer ‘fist bumping’ a senior officer before entering the ring is one of 85 photos taken by Ministry of Defence staff in 2017 that have been selected to illustrate life this year in the Armed Forces. The pictures include soldiers taking part in the Pride in London event, a military exercise in Estonia and veterans running in the Invictus Games.
