Forties pipeline to open in days

The most important oil and gas pipeline system in the North Sea, Forties, is set to resume normal flows slightly earlier than expected, after having been closed just over two weeks ago due to a crack. Ineos, the operator of the pipeline, said it should be able to bring the pipeline back to normal rates around the new year.
