‘Must-hurry travel deals often not true’

-

 Holidaymakers are being misled by so-called “hurry deals” because the same price or cheaper is often available once the offer has ended, Which? has found.

The consumer watchdog tracked 30 deals over three weeks in July and August 2017 and found that the same offer was available for the same price – or even cheaper in 16 cases – after the offers came to an end.

Which? says companies could be in breach of trading regulations if their offers can be shown to be misleading and likely to cause the average person to make a decision about the purchase they would not otherwise have made.
