Turkey frees suspects

Turkey is now freeing some suspects arrested for involvement in the 2016 coup attempt, after downloading a smartphone app called Bylock, a messaging app used by the plotters.

Thousands had been unwittingly redirected to the app and authorities investigated 23,000 of the users.
