New Year’s Day Concert from Vienna 2018

 The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra’s New Year’s concert is one of the highlights of the classical music year, and this year’s should be no exception. Riccardo Muti conducts a performance of polkas, waltzes and marches composed by the Strauss family and their contemporaries. Followed by two performances from the Vienna State Ballet to mark 100 years since the death of Austrian architect Otto Wagner. SH
